Things to know before you visit

Aquatic supervision policies

All City of Sydney Leisure Centre's are Keep Watch facilities. This simply means you must keep your children close by when in or near the pool.

Your safety is very important to us so we ask you to follow these safe supervision policies in and around our aquatic areas (including pools and water play areas).

0 - 5 year olds and non-swimmers

Parents must stay within arms reach.

6 - 10 year olds & weak swimmers

Parents must be close, be prepared & maintain constant visual contact.

11 - 14 year olds

Parents should maintain visual contact.

Safe swimwear policy

All centre's are committed to safe swim practices for everyone. This policy is designed to maintain a clean, safe and inviting environment for yourself and all other patrons.

Clothing, other than swimwear, can create problems with water clarity, pool disinfectant and the water filtration system, which may impact the safety of our patrons and staff.

Approved swimwear

Adequate and hygienic, recognised swimwear must be worn at all times in the water.

Rash shirts are recognised as swimwear.

Infants are required to wear recognised waterproof Aqua nappies.

Unacceptable swimwear

Inappropriate swimwear includes and is not limited to:

  • Denim/cotton (including tee shirts)
