Victoria Park Pool is an oasis in the middle of a tranquil, nine-hectare park. As well as a 50m heated outdoor pool, the centre boasts a gym and popular cafe.

Prince Alfred Park Pool - City of Sydney

It is important if you are intending to visit the centre to swim that you are familiar with the process and measures in place, and adhere to the COVID safe rules during your visit.

The NSW Government does not require staff or patrons to be vaccinated to attend the pools.

You will be required to check-in using our QR code and your Service NSW app prior to entry

You can attend in groups of up to 5 people if fully vaccinated, or groups of 2 people if unvaccinated

The pools will be available for lap swimming, recreational swimming, lane walking and children’s swimming

Freeplay/recreational swimming lane available between 9am-5pm

Bookings are not required, however, the centre will have a capacity of 1 person per 4 square metres

A ‘swim’n’go’ policy will be in place. Sun lounging around the pool area will not be permitted

Changerooms will remain closed, however, accessible toilets and outdoor showers are available

Visits are limited to a maximum of 2 hours

At this moment, under the current public health order, indoor aquatic centres and gyms remain closed.

Our teams are passionate about seeing people fulfil their fitness goals, and we are excited to get Sydney moving again. We look forward to welcoming the community of Sydney back into our pools.

New Covid guidelines and restrictions have been announced today, and will be enforced within our centres from 4pm 23 June, 2021.

The health and safety of our customers and our community are the highest priority, and all guidelines are in place with this in mind.

New guidelines and restrictions announced include;

4sqm per person rules apply at both indoor and outdoor centres. Maximum capacity signage will be displayed around the centres

The decision has been made to pause all group fitness classes up to and including June 30.

All indoor sporting competitions and stadium bookings will be cancelled

Masks are mandatory for all members and customers, excluding when swimming. 

Lap lane capacities for structured programming (e.g squads) will be in place, including;

Learn to Swim, School holiday intensives and Squads will continue to operate as normal

All parents and spectators must be wearing masks, and observe 1.5m social distancing guidelines

Additional cleaners have been rostered on, and increased cleaning of all areas and equipment will take place, including;

Fitness centre golden rules will be strictly enforced

Towel: All customers training in the fitness centre must have a towel with them

Distance: Please maintain a safe distance of 1.5m between one another

Sanitise: Sanitise your hands before and after your workout

If you have even the mildest symptoms, such as a headache, fatigue, cough, sore throat or runny nose, please get tested.
